Thanks for all your help guys!

I replied but I guess it didn't go through.

What I said was that we aren't just going to lvl together, but we wanted to pick two classes that, since we are always going to be online together, we could play by ourselves if there isnt any way to snag a group. I am really leaning towards Monk/War or Nin/War.

I love what Monks are about, and Ninja seem fun and challenging but....expensive... Wouldn't mind being a War/Nin with two swords...is that feasible? Anyways, my brother decided to be a Redmage/Whm, so that is cool.

    Anyways, thanks for your help.

War/nin is just as expensive as nin main and you don't want to use swords if you play war. Warriors have higher skill with both axes and great axes. Sword weapon skills are also quite weak and they seem to be made for low attack rating classes such as paladin (red lotus blade and sprits within both ignore attack rating).

Monk/war is great for dealing damage, but if you want to ALWAYS be able to start a party I suggest you go pld/war and you friend goes rdm/blm (or rdm/whm). That way you have all the hardest to find and most important party ingredients (tank, healer and refresher).

      Warrior L30, Dragoon L45+, Thief L70+, Paladin L25+, Monk L15+, Ninja L35+ , Ranger 40+

        Thanks man. Appreciate it.

I am really leaning towards monk...Ninja maybe...I just can't see myself playing and paladin and actually having fun. I just never liked playing the role of meatshield.

I will get WAR up when I get the game and hopefully a Monk and Redmage will be able to create some parties, or atleast make friends with a Paladin..!

        Thanks again!
