    where the majority of the male population died/remained, and that the few males they took with them are kept safe from harm for breeding purposes.
    Wow, the life of a Male Mithra would be nice

      I dunno... horomones put aside, would you like everything taken care for you but you were not allowed to go anywhere or do anything? :\ I bet they will be quests in the future dealing with that issue once they do start explaing more stuff...

        I dunno, i'd hate to be a male mithra. People always fantasize about having a room of women and stuff, but that'd suck in my honest opinion. One, I dont care what you say, you'd get tired of hanging around girls ALL the time from trying to give all of them the right amount of attention. Having to please a room of women would suck, because all of them would want your attention at the same time. I'd go insane X_X;

          I just completed a Jeuno quest last night.

          In one of its cutscenes, a Galka NPC expresses sexual interest in a female Elvaan NPC. That's all the proof I need.

          Galkas = male

            I'm sorry but that isn't conclusive at all.

            After all, no one can truly tell which gender Elvaan you're dealing with.

              lol

              But seriously...if Galkas really were genderless, they would have no sex drive whatsoever. If SE truly intended Galkas to be a gender-neutral race like most people assumed, then they just created a huge plot hole with that cutscene.

              And on a totally unrelated subject, I seriously need to update my profile. I just hit 69 in my Bard job

                Galka are "him" because they are generally considered as males. Think of Data on Star Trek -- most people called him a "him" without a second thought, although his male sex was entirely non-functioning and artificial.

                so for those who have to concider everything with a gender (I just don't get the French), the Galkas are male.
                Grammatical gender has very little to do with real-life gender. In Old English, wif-man "woman" was masculine, since if was formed from the word for "man. "Gender" in language is an abstract description for systems with only two or three noun declensions.

                also, the lack of a non-gender specific third person pronoun is a defect of the English language, not a problem with the programming.
                It's hardly a "defect" -- No language on the planet has pronouns for every combination of gender, number, and animacy.

                Anyways, back to the original subject, "their" is currently only a plural pronoun, though it does seem to be evolving into a signular, gender indeterminant, pronoun as well.
                "Their" as a third-person singular pronoun has been used as far back as English language has been written (over 1000 years). It's not "evolving" into anything -- it's *always* been used that way, even though grammar books might tell you not to.

                  That kid Galka that sends you on your way in the DRK quest says something about a journey of reincarnation that his friend had to go on. Not in that quest, I think, but he says it some other time.
