The last time someone tried to give my character "female attention", he ended up on my blacklist. (not to say that everyone gets blacklisted for this, generally it's just a polite "I'm sorry, I'm not interested." but this one pushed it a bit too far.)

heh, I will forever play a Mithra even though i'm a guy. I wasn't given lots of frees, but i am hit on a lot. o.O I either ignore it or hit on them back, but enough to make them think I was a psycho-rapist or something. XD

The reason I picked Mithra is because i absolutely adore cats! :3 Plain and simple. btw, i'm not homosexual for all those who think playing the opposite gender automatically makes you homosexual. (Not that there's anything wrong with being homosexual)

Had that happen in the Dunes yesterday, as I was playing "Selbina Gate Guardian" again. Some guy (I assume it was a guy) hit on my Mithra.

"Dude, it's just a couple of pixels. I'm not even a girl in RL."

I started my mule to play around with as a Female Hume, because i think they look bad ass. Im also happily engaged and have two kids /shrug.

I'm sure someone probably has. But this is reason A-1 you don't hit on female characters in games.

Either they're:
Male and don't want to be hit on
Male and do want to be hit on, but you probably don't want to hit on them...
Female and don't want to be hit on (and most female gamers I know in real life don't and complain about how much it happens. You'd be surprised how many female players play male characters for exactly this reason.)
Female and do want to be hit on.

So even assming even proportions of those, which there probably aren't, you've got at best a 1 in 4 chance of a good outcome.

Not the best odds, eh?

I choose female taru because I 33 mage classes and we're so cuuuuute. I put on Royal Footman's Tunic and my LS had to give me several Anti-Cute shots to shut me up from saying "I'M SO CUTE!!!" every five minutes.

But yeah,.. what am I trying to say? Oh yeah. I would much more like players representing their real life gender in game (like Ragnarok Online, you choose a gender when creating accounts and you're locked with that gender) but obviously with the Female only Mithra and "Male" only Galka, FFxi isn't built like that.

I would really like to see Male Mithra release though. Cat-boys rawr ^_~
