im a guy IRL, but i chose mithra for stats and look.
but if there was a guy mithra, id play him, always kept to guy chars in my other MMORPG's

It's a goddamn game, who cares if the person behind the controller is representing their real gender. I don't see why it is so damn important to know what everyones real gender is, I really don't give a damn, and most of the people I party with don't either. If you think that a MMORPG is a viable outlet for meeting members of the oppisite sex you need to get out more.

My character is a Female Taru, it was going to be a Male Taru at first but something about them not being able to walk 3 steps without them falling flat on their face irked me. I was infinitely amused by the Female Taru dancing, and acting like an airplane so I went with it. Not only that but have you ever seen the face of a Female Taru in combat? To say it is fierce is an understatement

Oh and if playing a Female Taru, as a Male makes me gay, realize this I don't remember the last time I took the opinion of a 15 year old seriously, oh wait that's right I never have... grow up.

I honestly just try not to guess. That, or you can mostly tell who is male and who is female by the way they talk.

Most guys don't say, "Hehe, Kawaii!"...and most females I've met don't greet Mithra's by asking them to take off their armor.

And sadly, most of the time, guy players have worse grammar than girl players. I have developed a habit of basing gender on gramatical error count. But this isn't always the case! Just seems to be a common occurance on the Ifrit server.

I havent checked this thread in a while and damn I sure got alot of replies so since I'm checking now I wanted to tell everyone again I don't plan on meeting a girl I was just curious sheez and I haven't started playing yet so I'm not on bahamut server and finally to my archrival cool picture Freya's my favorite from ffIX I just beat it recently too

Definately not true, you are allowed to play whatever you want, there are no rules setting you to only place the gender in game to your real life gender.

Most females in game are actually males in real life, basically because they like the "female attention" from males, all of them will be homosexuals in life.

The forum auto stops you from doing that by using the 60 second rule, you can only post 1 post per minute so how could you do that?
