Are there ANY Male Mithra NPCs?

I know, I know... you cant play Male Mithras, but reading from the Mithra profile, it says that "Male Mithras are VERY rare and do not venture....blahblahblah". That doesn't mean that there are NO male mithras at all.

I was just wondering if there are any Male Mithras to do with quests or that are wandering faaar north lost in some ice-cave or something.

Anyone seen one at all?

:confused: I heard that male mithras are very rare. Now maybe this is just a rumor but they say theres a possibility of someone creating a male mithra charecter. Think of the possibilities people trying over and over again just to try to get a male Mithra. But other than that I havent heard of other male mithra characters but you never now whats out there.

You can't create a Male Mithra. It's just a lame rumor that should be easily dismissed by common sense.

I remember talking to some NPC in Windhurst about how the Mithra travelled from their homeland to windhurst for some unknown reason. Anyways the NPC also mentioned that the male mithra never left, or do much of anything for that matter.

Its sort of interesting since it is similar to real life tigers and lions. The female tigers do all the hunting, while the lions basically guard their terriority and harem errr pride.

I imagine that Square has some expansion pack in the works.

female lion = no long hair around neck.
male lion = hair around neck (mane?)
tiger = has stripes, usually orangish. female look similar to male.

I am pretty sure female tiger does not hunt for male, I think they are less social then Lions.

I had read that SE planned the mithra homeland as a future expansion... soooo by then I'm sure there will be male mithra NPCs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they resembled lions, what with manes and everythin'.

Um, I'm pretty sure the mithra homeland is Kazham - which was included in Rise of the Zilart.

Oh, and since I only started playing this game with the NA release - what the heck are the zilart? =P

Hmm, this is a thread topic that has been repeated over and over. A search might come in handy it's located in the top right corner of the website.

As far as reading all the past ones dealing with "Is there a Male Mithra and a Female Galka". There is one thread mentioning something of a quests were you do see a Male Mithra, but it's debated though on if that really was a Male Mithra.

One thing for certain is there is no random chance of making a Male Mithra. As it currently stands the Male Mithra's were not even intended to be played, reason I'm certain about that is in all of S-E's interviews anything they added into the game they did it following as strict as they can to its current or progressing storyline. As the story currently stands the Male Mithra never venture out like the Female Mithra do.

As for Galka it is thought by a few I've read on this website that they are Unisex with Asexual reproduction (So they are really neither male or female, but because of their physical characteristics they are decided to have mostly male features).

Ok, that about sum's what you'd find if you actually searched for this information in the already existing threads..
