How many job can you have in total?

I saw 3,like one main and two sub.Can someone explain me how can you have 2 support jobs and one main?

One Main Job, one Sub-Job. The sub is capped at half the level of the main, rounding down.

u can have every job, but at any given time u can only use one main and one sub.

if you master a job, like white mage as your main, then turn into a warrior as your main, without white mage as a sub, would you lose all the abilities you learned from white mage

you wouldnt lose them but you wouldnt be able to use them because u dont have the whm job chosen for main or sub

ok lets say this. You have a 19 white mage and u got warrior as ur main job. You will stll have ur white mage, but u cant be him until u switch back. If you switch back, ur the lvl 19 white mage again.
