summoner questions whoopie!

right...

so i just obtaines the summoner kob, but i have a few questions about it!

1.) there is an expansion that is being offered by square enix if you can lvl your main job to 40 by the 30th. it includes drg, sam and nja... but does it include more summons for the summoner?

2.) speaking of more summons... ive heard of summoning elementals.. but how does that work? is it a charm? and at what lvl can u do this?

3.) how do you and at what lvl do you obtain the shiva quest, or where is shiva (do you have to fight her to obtain her?)?

4.) wow i have a lot of questions

5.) the strength of carbuncle and the rest of the summons raises with summon magic skill lvl, right? does the magic lvl increase with each casting, or while they attack when out?

thank you so much for your input. i scanned the forum for this info, to no avail. if it was right under my nose, i apologize.

by the way, summoner rocks!!! (at least to lvl 5!)

Um, wow :sweat: This should probably go to the Summoner section but I'll see what I can do for ya.

1.) I have no clue as I don't own the game yet.

2.) I'm not sure in what areas they can be located but you must obtain the scroll of an elemental in order to use it. There is no level requirement, but from what monsters you get them from I have no idea. They can also be found in the summoner section of the AH if anyone has one for sale.

3.) I can't really say there's a level requirement for the shiva quest, but you need to have alot of fame in whichever city gives you the quest. And yes you have to fight her, along with all the summons to obtain them. From what I hear, you'll need a party of level 60+ people to do it, so good luck.

4.) The strength of the summons is directly related to your level. So the higher your level is, the stronger they get.

yeah.. this shoulda gone into the summoner section. my first post and i screwed up.
