In the game what kind of things are there to do besides fighting? And also is there any type of 1st-Person viewing mode. I wonder because a lot of the screenshots I see don't include the player who made it. And if you have some and you feel like posting them, what are some pretty fun or interesting things you've done in the game?

Joining a guild can often times be rewarding. Go fishing or learn how to prepare food etc.

guilds like the man said - NM hunting (basically boss or rare hunting) - traveling alone can be fun in the game lol (it can become repetative when you HAVE to do it but to just chill with friends on a boat, airship or chocobo can be fun). and yes you're correct in guessing there's a 1rst person mode. though it's neat to use to view certain things - i for one can't play using it >< lol. oh and also managing your AH well can be fun - playing the market heh all sorts of stuff.
