Ok, i have a question about these skills. Lets say i have a lev 5 thf, and now im like "Ok i got the gil finder, i should switch jobs" so i switch to warrior (and i dont have a sub job) do i still keep the gil finder or do i have to get the subjob quest and then put the thf as my subjob.

You need to complete the subjob quest at lvl 18 to put THF as a subjob, allowing you to use it.Originally posted by Schneids

Once you complete it, you can sub anything at any level, but atleast 1 job has to be lvl 18 and complete the quest.FFXIComment
