    Hello there
    I've been working, the last half year or so, on a new WS Chart.
    About 3 Years ago when i first started to get interrested in WS's i found a file called wse.pdf
    I've used that one ever since.
    But over the time and with new expansions comming out this chart is a bit outdated.
    So i made a new one.

    One thing i ever wanted to be in a WS-Chart is to be able to "see" how "good" a WS is. Not "good" in the sense of "this WS gives this and this effect" but more the "RAW-dmg-good". I'm still missing BLU-Magic DMG and Staff-DMG.
    SMN is in the works (doing lots of tests with a friend)
    Right now there are 3 versions online.
    1: The old wse.pdf
    2: The 2.1 branch on which i will work on. Trying to display the dmg part in a readable and correct way.
    3: The 2.0 branch in which the DMG-part is left out. I think it's still usable just with less infos.
    The 2.0 branch wont be developed any further except when i find stuff that's just wrong or i do some changes to the 2.1 branch which are easiely translatable to 2.0.
    I'd be happy about every feedback i can get.
    Some preventive explanations about feedback i already got:

    About the size.
    I know it's big, but i dont think it's too big to be impractical.
    The size is so that it fits well on an A3.
    You can print it on an A4 and still can read it. (But your printer need's to be good enought)
    For those who dont have a Color-printer.
    A black/white version will come as soon as the dmg-stuff is finished.

    About the layout.
    Upperside --> DD / Advanced Class Weapons.
    Middle Part --> SMN / PUP / BLU
    Lower Part --> Weapons everyone starts with (Club, Staff, Sword, Dagger)
    The rest i just fitted in where i could (like archery/markmanship)
    I also had some problems with arranging the WS's that have 3 elements (now all in the left column)

    The DMG-part is purely the RAW-DMG a WS does. Not how well it performs within a SC or how good it is if you stack it with SA.
    I know that with different TP multis differnt WS's are differntly "good".
    I just didnt know how i could put them so you can see it.
    In the first beta i had every MOD and every TP-multiplier in the chart (you can think it was BIG....)
    I hope someday i find a solution to how i can display it without wasting too much space.
    I thought about leaving the dmg part out.
    But if you're planning a SC and dont really know how "good" a WS is, it helps to have a "vague" pointer.
    Maybe i have to put in a note that the dmg-indicator is not to be seen too serious.

    I know there are SC-calculators (i use the firefox extension myself).
    I just dont like them :D
    I just think i can display more information in a more readable way than with a calculator.
    (And a chart does not need... you know.. power to run )

    Looks interesting; thank you for making it. ^_^
    However, I think this should be moved to either "Party Etiquette & Fighting Tactics" instead.

    Edit:
    Attaching 2.0 version to save people an extra hop; had to Zip it because it's bigger than 19.5 KB, and the forum doesn't like that for .pdf files.

        Though I still prefer a few of the older charts, you still deserve cudos for the work ^^

          update:
          changed the status of 2.0 to final (had to clarify some things on H2H).


          Will work now again on the 2.1 beta.
          If someone has any input on how to better display the dmg-indicators (not just writing the mods and multis) i'd appreciate it.

            Really great work! I don't think I'll end up using it. (Sorry. lol) but it's a lot of work and appears to be done quite well. I'll continue using the ruby version of the Skillchain builder, just because it's nice and fast. Of course I've also been playing this game so long, I pretty much know the entire chart like the back of my hand. ^^

            But still, great work!

              2.1 beta 5 is out
              I finally found the time to add the new PUP moves and fixed a few typos.

              In the same i updated the 2.0 final version.

              For all those that complained the chart contains too much infos to look something up fast.
              I'm trying to rearrange the different weapon sections so i can leave out almost everything except the actual elements and will instead add the weaknesses of the mobs.

                is the "reduced" version which includes the new WS's.

                is the "full" version which includes the new WS's.


                I basically just need to find out from what skill on (if any?) and from what level on you can use the new WS's.
                Then 2.0.1 version is final and wont be changed anymore.

                The 2.2 version will be the start of a new way to display the awesomness of a WS.
                It seems i'm resorting to including all mods and multiplier of the WS's.
                Until then 2.1.1 includes the new mystic WS's.

                if someone sees an obvious fault please say so.

                The versions i made up to now are intend to print out on A3.
