urgent dynamis question!

    urgent dynamis question!

    Just last night my friends and I changed our alliance to Windhurt so we coud begin working on that storyline. It was near the end of our play time so we did 1 mission then called it a night. Upon waking this morning, I realized that I have a Dynamis run today. Even though Ive been to countless runs before, will being rank 1 in a new nation affect my abilty to enter? If so I need to run my ass over to bastok and change back to rank 10 ><

      Eh? No. Rank has no effect on Dynamis. The only requirements are that your current job is level 65+, that you've seen the cutscene in Xarcabard, and that you've tagged the Trail Markings at least once to get that cutscene.

        in order to see that cutscene in Xarcabard, u need to have had beaten Shadow Lord at least once, in other words u have to be, or was before w/ another nation, rank 6 or up. so i'd say "Rank has no effect on Dynamis" is somewhat misleading.

        nevertheless, just as i said as long as u've beaten him at least once, ur entry into Dynamis won't be obstructed, so "ur 'current' rank doesn't affect Dynamis" might be a better way to put it.


        so to answer the original question, no, u won't need to switch back to Bastok.

          Here, really really simple.....If you have entered Dynamis before, you don't have to anything to worry about!

            Whew, thanks for the insights everyone. I didnt think it would affect anything, but after the little taru talked about "erasing all memories" it got me worried!

              Yep, you need rank 6 to activate it, not to enter dynamis ^^ so once activated and once the "quest" is done, ur homefree
