Most people are pretty stupid when it comes to unconvential ways of doing things... Like before I gave up normies with redmage(Pre 48) I offered to tank a few times because there was no tank, or the exisiting tank had left.

When I suggested it everyone suddenly went up in arms saying; RDM cant tank blah blah blah I have job XXX at 75 I know everything GTFO!

However in 1 party that actually let me do it after much bickering (@46 with RDM/WAR) they were all surprized that it didnt slow exp down at all. And I was able to hold hate some what decently. I always had good overall equipment that makes my defense atleast as high as my attack(And I ALWAYS keep sword/dagger capped with RDM) so I had adquate armour(and I keep bream sushi with at at all times ^_^) Anyhow long story short: Even though I struggled, I successfully tanked in an EXP party on IT mobs as RDM/WAR and EXP still flowed decently.

NO I did NOT keep up on Redmage duties for obvious reasons


EDIT: Actually at the end of party everyone suggested I become a paladin, saying I would be a really good one ^_^

this is very true ive partied there once or twice good exp and i hate those parties where the set up is along the lines of a thf brd rng rdm rdm sam i think that was an actual party and we kicked ass actually now that i think about it and dont ask how that worked out i dont even remember all i remember was thf having warrior sub, and sam kicking ass,
