Red Mage AF2 help

Eriwilde's guide says "Get a pocket watch (?u‰ù’†ŽžŒv?v), bring it to the underground of the Cathedral in North San d'Oria. Trade a velvet (?uƒrƒ??[ƒh?v) and get old shoes (?uŒÃ‚Ñ‚½ŒC?v). Then, talk to Curilla."

Can anyone tell me where to get a "pocket watch" from? I've never seen one before. And is "velvet" available to buy in the AH? Many thanks.

From what i remember....

All I did was, after done talking to the 2 RDM AF NPC (1 in bar and 1 in castel. sorry forgot their names) you can just go to church's underground, talk to the NPC there and trade birode right away.

I don't recall getting that item... watch? my friend said it means latern
