  • Is it possible to Abandon a Quest?

I seem to have picked up a quest which Black Mages can't do, is it possible to abandon it? *sadface*

Yes, but since the game allows you to change jobs, there's very little point to letting you abandon a quest. Any quest you pick up, you can complete one way or another.

Ah, you must be new. You can change jobs at your Mog House. Also, be sure to talk to the gate guards and ask for Signet before heading out of town, and talk to those floating books in Gustaberg for training regimes to get extra EXP.

they are usually just near the zone/ area as you enter it. yuo may have to run around to see it. the ones as you just leave bastok are if i remember correctly Bastok mines exit -> to the left or right near the gate in South gustaberg zone. and port Bastok exit the same just it takes you to north gustaberg zone. They look like open books that are floating and are called field manuals or grounds tomes when in a dungeon. I'll try to remember where I used to follow a map. it shows how all teh zones are connected. It really helped me out when I started.
I'm not sure what server yo are on but I'll always try n help out if I can.
As long as you dont make fun of my brummie accent lmao.

Well this is frustrating, I accidentally picked up the harder version of the quest to unlock subjobs, and I'm stuck grinding levels to be able to just survive the areas I'm in because I'm completely out of gil.
