Yeah.. we low-manned it @ 75 with BLM, SAM, BRD, and me ... I can't remember if I was on SAM or DNC though.

Thanks guys. This sounds hopeful. I know I have a lvl 85 RDM, a lvl 90 BLM, a lvl 83 BST and myself as lvl 90 SMN. From what you guys are saying, it sounds like this is going to be a breeze.

I'll just plan to have the pets engage and work him down to 80% and then have the BLM and RDM jump in with debuffs and nukes. Should be quick, right?

I doubt you'll have any problems. You're avatar will probably end up tanking unless the BLM goes nuts. I think you'll find the black coffin fight was/is more trouble than this BC.

Finished ToAU Mission 29: Puppet in Peril this morning!

It was very easy. I solo'd it as 90SMN/45WHM.

Entered and buffed with SS, Blink, Aquaveil and Protect/cure IV from my Light Spirit. After I finished buffing, I Siphoned my MP back up and waited 3 minutes for the timer to go down.

I used Fenrir (with my new hat!) and used Eclipse Bite every 45 Seconds. If I got hate, I held my ground until Fenrir got it back, then rebuffed anything lost (SS or Blink) and went back to waiting. When the NM got to 50%, I was around 700MP and worried I wouldn't last the fight, so I ran to the extreme end of the BC zone and allowed myself to get hate to pull the NM to me. Once Fenrir had hate again, I booked it back to the other side and used elemental siphon and resummoned Fenrir to keep going. I finally killed him when I was down to 150MP.

He only used Cure IV once, only used his SS once and even as a taru... his AoE attack barely took me down to 400HP before Fenrir got hate back. All in all... stressful... but definately soloable.

Finished with 13 Minutes left on the clock.

Absolutely soloable by a SMN, Tarutaru suggested for the added MP.

Now I'm looking forward to the remaining 3 (or 4?) fights before I can finally go get Odin and Alexander!
