I usually make my sister go as SMN to help out with LS's Promyvion runs.

Once upon a time, I would ask her to start Astral Flow when boss is at 60%. Then, it became 70%, then 80%-ish, and the last five, ten runs she'd just go as soon as tank(s) provoked and used a Hysteroanima.

The melee's--and RNG if there's one--would then mop up with two-hour abilities. I usually forget to use Mighty Strikes before the NM is at 5% or less, though, when I'm on WAR.

    That's with one Summoner.

If we're talking about three or more SMN's, about the thing I'd ever worry about getting in a Hysteroanima just before AF blood pacts so the avatars won't be slept or pushed away by knock back attack.

      Re: DD in the Promies

Well, when we did it with the LS, we primarily had:

Pld, Drg, Smn, Rng, Whm, Blm

We had it a bit mixed up sometimes if someone couldn't make it, we did this for 4 people including myself who needed it, had to redo some fights. So sometimes we had a War instead of blm for instance, or 2x ranger, and I forget what else.

We'd normally start using anima at around 60%-70% hp, depended on the boss and how nasty he was. The main goal was to hamper him until we got him down to about 50%, then smack him with anima so that he couldn't do anything while people used their two hours on him which would normally kill him or almost kill him.

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I don't have a big ego, it just has a large mouth.

When CoP originally came out, DRG really wasn't that useful in the first three Promyvions. We did ok, but didn't really excel.

Now though, with Spirit Surge, DRGs are near the top tier for useful jobs in those BCs.

Then again, the first three Promyvions as a whole are a lot easier now then they used to be.
