hoping to be able to tackle CoP mission 2-5 with my THF job. But I was wondering how effective I would be to my teammates.

Since this thread was recently necro bumped (humped?):

One can definitely kite as THF/NIN on CoP 2.5. I've done it myself, and I've had another THF do the same. We always kite two Mammets with one THF, with a backup kiter (BST or NIN/RDM) playing DD until needed to help out.
