Is it possible to win Escort Professor Clavauert or Sagelord Elimination without either SMN or BRD?
On Escort, I don't see how you're supposed to protect him since he runs straight into aggro and there's no way of stopping him, sleep won't stick.
On Sagelord, he runs around aggroing everything, sleep only works so often before the RDM or BLM gets slaughtered from the buildup.
