Rychyde vanished again... so what am I missing?!?

I'm on the "Clue" quest for Rycharde the chef. And I finally got him his dangnabbit Crawler Eggs.... however, when I head back to Mhuara, he's -gone- again.

I've tried everything I can think of... talking to Valegir, Take, everyone in Selbina, everyone I can find in Mhuara.

So what am I missing that will bring ol Rychie back?
