No, by watching you struggle to make it look like you were correct in some regard even though you were blatantly wrong in every aspect.

No, there is no quest in Bastok involving flint stones.
Well, there is a quest but you said four stones and there is no quest in Bastok with four flint stones.
And then:

There is a quest in Bastok for four Flint Stones, but it's not a guy. It's a woman.

The OP never mentioned the sex of the questgiver so I'm at a loss as to the relevance of that post.

I wasn't struggling to make myself look like anything. I gave what I thought was the correct answer (after a perfunctory search) and then corrected it later on. I tried to cover as many bases as possible since the OP wasn't very forthcoming with the info (and has yet to return). I'm not going to apologize for that.

But hey, instead of wasting your energy trying to prove me wrong, you could have just answered the OP correctly since you obviously knew the correct answer the entire time. But it's much more fun to try and find fault with me, right?

The correct answer was already posted on the third response to the OP, I can't help the fact you failed to see that as well. I'm not expending any real energy in proving you wrong either so don't concern yourself on that front.
