I Have A SMN Job Quest Question

Please forgive me if this is a bit lame and I don't know whether or not it is in search somewhere but I have a question to ask about the smn quest.

After days and days of waiting for it to appear, I finally managed to complete it last night, getting the fire elemental effect between Rabao and Altepa. YAYYY!
I'd have to say though, that it didn't last very long like most of the other effects I got from other places. I guess I just managed to be in the right place at the right time, and did a tiny spot of fishing which didn't last me before it appeared.

Anyway, here's my question.
Now that I have my smn job, can someone tell me where I fight all the other summons to get them? Someone else had completed this quest last night at the same time too and they thought that one of them was somewhere in windurst.
From what I remember, (though I'm not 100% clear on it) I think they said it was
Titan.

Also from what I remember, I don't think sites llike allakhazam.com and somesite.com are very helpful at this point, because they don't tell you where to go to get the other summons.

Can anyone help me out here please?

In order to do the full level avatar battles, you locate an NPC in each town or city and they will give you a key item for the battle.

Right next to each of those NPCs is a second NPC that will give you a rare/ex mini tuning fork if you are around level 20. You then trade that fork back to the NPC to get warped to the solo mini-avatar battles.

The level 20 battles require much less fame to initiate, as well.

The locations for the avatar battles is:

Shiva - North San d'Oria (E-7)
Titan - Port Bastok (I-8)
Garuda - Rabao (G-8)
Ifrit - Kazham (J-9)
Leviathan - Norg (H-9)
Ramuh - Mhaura (I-9)

So what you are saying is, that I will have to wait til LvL 20 before I can fight those summons?

You didn't list all the others, like the elemental summons.
where do I get those from?

Does anyone know please?


Edit : Just spotted something else.

I've never been to Norg before, so I don't know how to get there.
Where do I get a map from for this place?

Elements are all learned from scrolls. Not sure where they drop or anything.

You need to have summoner at level 20 or another job at 60+ to fight the avatars and earn the ability to summon them. Fenrir and Diabolos are more complicated. Don't worry about those until later.

The summons that look like elementals are learned from scrolls like normal spells. You can buy them from the auction house. If you want to get them yourself:

These are the only summons you can get at the lower levels. In order to get Fenrir or Diabolos, you need to do a high level fight and, unless you have either a very nice LS or a very high level character, you won't be able to do these.

The only other summon is Carbuncle and you already have him.

And yes, you just have to hit level 20 and then you can start these mini-battles. They are very exciting and lots of fun.

All those elemental spirits are from places over LvL 50, so I guess I'll have to wait for quite some time before I get those.

You can pick up the earth spirit cheaply from an NPC in Norg. Arguably the only one worth having is the light spirit, because it will buff you, but that one's crazily expensive.

Okay, just one thing.
I have absolutely NO idea where Norg is, as I have never been there ingame before. What LvL place is it?

Do you know of any instructions on how to get there?

Okay, so they're all LvL 1, but if I wanted to buy any of them from the AH, then what subject would I look under? Is it white or black magic?

They have their own section. Norg is a town. You have to go through Sea Serpent Grotto to get there, but as long as you keep Sneak on, level shouldn't matter. You can get the map to there from ffxi-atlas.com
