Some people had trouble figuring out where/when do take the pictures, so I thought I'd help out. The quest starts with Balakaf in the northern Whitegate port.
Shot of Mount Halvung in Wajaom Woodlands

First picture is taken at F-6 in Wajaom Woodlands during weather similar to this. The first picture is the correct, as it is most unobstructed. Returning will reward you with an Imperial Silver Piece.
Wait until JP Midnight, 11AM EST, to accept the next part of the quest.

Shot of Lover's Rocks in Arrapago Reef

Here you'll have to wait until it's snowing, ice weather, to take the picture. The second picture is correct, as it highlight both pillars and the boat to the side. Returning will reward you with an Imperial Silver Piece.
I'm pretty sure that ice weather appears once a day at the same time. As you can see in the picture it began to snow at 1:35AM EST, as it had around the same time the day before. The weather seems to last for a few minutes.
Rerturn the next day and he'll ask for the same picture. You'll have to take the next picture at the same angle, but with a Light Cluster. For this part I had originally planned to return around 1:35 AM to test my theory, but I decided to head out early for some reason, four hours early. To my surprise it started to snow around 10:34PM EST. It lasted for a minute, stopped, and five seconds later started again and lasted for about ten minutes.

Shot of the ruins off the coast of Mount Zhaylom

You must take an extremely long run through Halvung and Mount Zhaylom to reach this area, which includes opening a Gate of Halvung. To retrieve the item necessary you must first check both gates, then find a ??? within large area around the first gate. The map is a bit confusing, as exit 5 and 6 are on the bottom floor, while there's a similar exit on the top floor it brings you to the top of the island rather than the botton. Maps are posted below.
You must take the picture between 16:00 and 18:00 during sunset, and picture three is the best shot because it includes the setting sun. Returning with the picture will reward another imperial silver piece. The Apkullu there aren't aggressive, and the other monsters wont wonder anywhere near the ???.

Shot of the lava flow in Halvung.

This is rather easy to find, it's the ??? point marked on the first map of Halvung below. The picture must be aken between 4:00 and 8:00 I believe, but what makes it the most difficult is the area is not clear of enemies. Two bombs will roam around so even if you manage to get the picture moving away and recasting Sneak and Invisible will prove to be a challenge. The first picture is the correct one.
