Oh god, I didn't realize that o_o I wonder if it will be like the NPC quest the first week it came oute... Huge lines in the area waiting to kill a monster...

As for the price if we can just give him gil for the quest, SE said the new areas will be mostly for higher level players? I'm expecting it to be somewhere around 500-1000k. I hope it's less than 500k though, even though I'm lazy I still wouldn't want to spend too much gil on something we could get for free with just a little work.

30+ isn't really considered high level. Even then there's Carpenters Landing and Bibiki Bay which are managable earlier.

If you want a quick item from that advanced list, Go solo or party in Kuftal Tunnel or Quicksand Caves and snag one of those Coffer keys that drop , litteraly off of every other mob =\

Kuftal isn't on the list of accepted coffer keys. Neither is Boyahda or Zvahl.

Keys, testimonies, chips, and the Garrison items (the intermediate list) are all rare/ex, so the low level ones probably are too.

They won't want to interfere with SJ quest for the X360 people (probably), so I expect something like 2-leaf mandragora bud, yuhtunga sulfur, orcish axe, smooth stone... all stuff that a low level player could get, but (since it's rare/ex) would be a pain in the ass for high level players to collect all of it when they could just get one key or testimony a lot faster.

That way, not everyone will be doing the same version of the quest and hunting the same mobs in the same areas. Things like 2-leaf drop from half the monsters in the zone, too.

dammit just tossed like 3 garrison items last week. And the only coffer key I have sitting around is Kuftal.

yea I dropped all my coffer keys collections a few months ago too.

CoP got so much bad comments about not being "low level friendly." All the more reason for ToA not to repeat that mistake. But well, we'll know soon enough.

Heh a LS mate told us a couple days ago that a coffer key or testimony was going to be required for this. I thought he was full of it, but I figured it wouldn't hurt me TOO much to go ahead and hunt up a testimony. Went to Davoi, spent about 10 minutes killing orcs just outside Monastic Cavern, got a DRG testimony. Now I'm very, very happy I did this, seeing as my LS mate WASN'T full of it.

I activated the beginner's quest.

It requires the three subjob items (magickked skull, damselfly worm, and crab apron), as well as damsel saliva, some sort of meat I forget, and the blood robe. >_>
