I Have A BCNM Question

Mission 2-3 in Sandy requires that you need a group to kill a BCNM at some point. Journey Abroad
I'm just wondering......
since my character is from Sandy, will I need players from Sandy only, to help me with the BCNM, or can the players chars belong to Bastok and windy too?

I'm guessing that in a normal BCNM battle, you don't really need players from one city, but since this involves a Sandy mission, then I'm not sure if I'll have to try and round up some players from Sandy or not.

you can party with anyone for that mission...

Actually for that I beleave you need either people who also need the same fight or people already past that mission.

I think that you need people that (a) have done it already--in this case it doesn't matter the nation they're from OR (b) are not from the nation that you are fighting the BC in--for example if you're fighting the Bastok BC in Pal. Mines, then you cannot take people from Bastok, but you can take people from San'dOria and/or Windurst.

Again, I'm not 100% sure on this.

Kafeen got it right. The other members need to have completed the mission, or be on the last leg of 2-3 and need the same dragon.

You said it needed to be players who have already completed this mission.
Does it matter if they are onto a mission far ahead of "Journey Abroad" (the one I'm currently needing to complete) or not? For e.g. would it matter if they were about 3 or 4 missions ahead of 2-3, Journey Abroad?

So long as they've completed 2-3 they can help. They don't even need to have gotten 3-1 yet necessarily.

Thanks again for the help.
I think I have the info I need for this mission now. I'm currently pt-ing in Kazham with my lvl 27-28 WHM, so maybe a bit later on, I'll want to do this mission.
It's going to be difficult looking for other players to group with though.
My chances might be a bit slim as there may not be many players who are up to this point like I am.

Also I'm not good at knowing how to go about trying to find other players.
I'm a bit shy with talking to people and as with any normal pt, I just put my flag up, and I'm always the one who gets asked or called to pt by someone else, as I'm a bit too shy to ask around myself. I'm hoping I might be able to find someone to help me find players isntead.



Edit : Oh, just one more quick question.
Is there a lvl cap for the BCNM in this mission, and if so, what is it please?
