Making headlines quest... how can I verify the windurst woods scoop?

I can't find the right tower to verify this windurst woods scoop... I found all four reporters, but can't verify the scoop. Any help?

Eastern most tower in E. Saruta. J-7. Takes you to Inner Horutoto Ruins.

Here there be deatails...

You will go in to the tower and it will be a fairly small area with four small rooms attached. Two of those small rooms will have "Cracked Wall" as a targetable item. Select it, and the cracked wall (doesn't matter which one) should open and lead you into a cave. Make sure you go to the cracked wall in one of the small rooms -not- the cracked wall in the main room. The walls are located at I think.... G-8 and G-9

This will take you to a second map. You are looking for the Cat Burgler's (Mihgo, the windurst tenshodo rep) hideout. Specificly, you are looking for the "Mahogony Door" (sp?) that is the same door used in one of the Windurst missions. Go to very NE corner G-8 on this map and head SW. This will take you off the map to the door you need. Examine it, then head back to Windy with the verified scoop.

I have the lapis crystal from "lost for words" should I stop by the cat first and then go to the ruins to kill two quests with one stone then?

The news quest and the lost for words?

Or should I stop by the ruins and the mahogney door for the news quest, then go to the cat with the lapis thing I just got?

Or does it not matter heh?
