Do they ever reset the Chocobo racing records?

The other week I did the Chocobo racing quest from Windurst to Jeuno and got a time of 14:38, ONE SECOND slower than the record of 14:37. The next week the Windurst - Jeuno route was offered, I beat it in 14:34, but they reported the record to be at 15:03.

Is my memory hazy, or do they reset these records? And if so, how often? Thanks.

I belive major updates reset records for BCMNs, HNM spawns etc.

They will be reset everytime theres maintinence I would imagine just like bcnm times.
