Windurst Angelica's Quest Translation Request

Can someone help me please? I already bought the armor that THF is supposed to wear, yet after I get this and change into that armor, it still doesn't clear the quest somehow. Online guides say THF should wear this - ƒŒƒU?[ƒxƒXƒg

The text in that quest log basically translates as the painters equipment isn't good enough, meaning you will have to model by wearing the stuff. You are right about the THF equipment.....

Here is some translated stuff from ELFU.com:

If you have the designated equipment already equipped BEFORE accepting, the quest will not start. There is a time limit, but even after time is up, you can accept it again.

My Japanese isn't too good, but I think that's what it means.

if you dont wear the cloak when you talk to the person ---you have to do it all over again
so you have to wait like 1-2 hours before you can accept again

Thank you Nadyxes and Saiyu, I think I'll leave the armor in my MH then talk to her, accept then go back to MH to get the armor and wear it to show her. Cause now I'm talking to her, gotten the quest, change immediately and talk to her again and it didn't seem to work. Also the other quest I'm unable to complete properly is that hat quest...went around doing it 3 times and still no hat. Just gils.

When I did it, I was using thief also, talked to her, nothing happened, unequip, talked to her, got quest, equip, finish quest...

And for the hat you have to talk to EVERYONE in that area of Windurst, which it consists of North and South parts... That quest is a pain in the ass, spend couple hours trying to get a hat that you cant even sell in AH... >.<

New updates to the Mystery of Angelica's quest. I wore nothing for my body, and spoke to her and got the quest. Then I went back to MH to get the body armor, wore it and spoke to her and got this message.

Just to double check, it's just the body armor right? don't need the complete set of boots, gloves, etc...

[3viL]3D: I used jonnyram's windurst quest guide and spoke to the list of people, about 5 - 6. Still didn't work. Do you have to speak to EVERYONE in windwaters?

Can someone help with the last bit of the translation and comment on what I might be doing wrongly?
