anyone done this yet? any suggestions, strategy? i'm trying to get a strategy plan together so my LS and i can make a few runs at it, so any help is appreciated.

If this is the one that drops Emperor Hairpin, my suggestion is don't even try.

The flies aren't sleepable so you're going to be fighting them all at the same time. The only possible ways to do it are Pld and the rest Smn. Have the paladin aggro all, Invincible, then have all the Smns 2hr the mess out of the group of them. Even that doens't work too well because you can only do it once every two hours.

I think they said Bsts might be able to do it as well, I'm not sure.

Everything I've read online about this says Charm and Horde Lullaby don't work. Blm single target sleep works, but Sleepga is one level above the cap of the BCNM. Even using Carby to pull still brings the whole group back to you.

Does anybody have any insight into this? It seems like every crowd control method available to a level 30 party specifically doesn't work. My best guess is to have everyone come in with tp and hope that landing 6 Cyclones does the 600-700 estimated points of damage necessary to kill of the houndflies.

If charm dosn't work, just use a jug?
