What's the easiest chip to get? Uncapped or capped. I have RDM75/NIN37 if need be. I tried to go for the one the mimic drops but killed for like 2 hours trying to get a key and still never got one.

Pretty much all the non-tonberry enemies in Pso'Xja drop colored chips of one sort or another. The mimics aren't bad. Lizards are pretty easy too. Recommend you go as /THF to improve the drop rate, rather than /NIN (better yet, drag a thief frient with you). The enemies in the uncapped tower closest to Ranguemont Pass start out as low EP, I'd recommend killing stuff there for the necessary chip.

you don't need a nin sub to take enemies in the first tower, just cut a massive swath of destruction.

If you can't handle it as a 75 RDM/Any sub stop playing now and delete your character

Well I ended up going back in there. I fought a room full of those urn thingies and none of them dropped anything useful. So I went in the blue door, and dropped down. Holy crap a Treasure Chest aggros me! I figured must have been from someone warping out or it killing someone. Nonetheless, I kill it. No drop... So then I go and kill a spider and a Gray Chip drops. =)
