When you say that you should max your fame in about 3 trips, do you mean 3 trips to Bastok and back? Or do you mean 3 trips to NPC to trade 8 coronets a trip?

3 trips of 30 cornettes each. so about 90 cornettes.
however, if you are not allied to windurst (nor of the native race), it would take more.

That's what I thought, but just wanted to be sure.


Oh, and one more thing...You don't have to zone after each Cornette do you? I've just been carrying a full inventory and trading them one at a time until empty. I've done this twice now...I hope I haven't been needing to zone.

somepage say: bastok 2nd place (or better)

with max bastok fame they are on about 22X gil, so you will loose 0 gil per item..
i done this everytime, take a partner and let him send you the cornetts, this will get you high fame in no time
100 cornettes = 3000 gil loss in the end

I took 2 lots of 30 from bastok to windy and it only leveled my fame once -.- how many runs would it take to make my fame a nice level e.g. 7-ish (i currently have level 4 fame)
