What's the best repeatable quest to get fame in Windurst?

Like topic says, for my more recent character, looking to build up fame quicker so I can do some other quests in windurst, and would like to know what the best quest for quick fame is there to do in windurst? Thanks in advance

Bird egg and 2-leaf mandie bud...crawler calculus...coronets, yuhtunga sulfur...smooth stone...Just to name a few.

Not the kind of answer im lookin for...talkin about quests where i could maybe just buy stacks of something at the AH, and keep trading em in for the quest. That's fast fame. Not running out and having to kill more stuff over and over again. That aint fast fame.

There's the Bastore Sardines. The only thing to slow you down there is that you need to zone after every one.

Ah, stacks of stuff at the AH, eh? Well, in that case what you'd want to look for are Beehive Chips and Remi Shells. They aren't the cheapest way to do things, (previous posters have mentioned several good quests that allow you to either break even or make money), but they'll fit your "quick and easy" requirement. Park yourself at the pharmacy in Windurst Woods and talk to the two mithra there, the one that isn't a merchant will accept 2 shells or 3 chips at a time for quick fame and a small amount of cash.

Be advised though, if you're getting fame for a specific quest, remember that the ministry quests in Windurst tend to be sequential. You can build up all the fame you want, if you haven't done the other quests in that ministry's sequence first, you won't get offered the later ones. I.E. Aspir quest, Blue Ribbon Quest, Fei'Yin Map quest, etc. Best way to check is open your map, go to the building on it where your desired quest is supposed to start and just canvass the place looking for other people with quests, if you get some, you'll probably have to do them first.

Twinstone Earrings worked nicely for me, though the drop rate sucks but if you go as thf or /thf then no problem. Not only will you get good fame but you get a bow then after that you get 900 gill for each earring afterwards.

Did that one...spent over 3 hours running back and forth. Went from 0 to 5 that night, but was so bored I started timing myself on runs and see how fast I could make it to the zone. Soon as I got done I went to the zone straight up rather than the one to west saruta and found it was like 15 seconds faster...yeah i was a little unhappy about that. Made a few thousand though.

I think I may do the ministry quests mentioned above to finish out my fame there. I'd rather do something halfway adventuring spend more mindless hours just running back and forth.

....the beehive chips may be fast, but outrageously expensive. At last check, a stack of chips was going for over 13k on Fairy.

When bastok is not #3rd place, the music store in market will sell cornet. Go there naked and buy all you can (around 250gil each)

Now go to Yoran Aran or something like that in windurst walls. The mandragora crazy guy. macro

Nope not really. When you're playing Whm for example and reach the point where you *need* your \ teleport spells, you have to have it no excuse. Boosting your fame up means you can accept the quests for them which imo doing quests is what you called *playing* the game right :p? It's a hundred times better than buying from the AH which IMO beats the object of playing the game even more.

But you miss out on all the story behind all the other quests you skip by just repeating the same one over and over.

lol, it's not like you can't go back and do all the others. it's just a quick and easy way to boost fame.
