Fomor Hate

Since i got access to Tavnazia ive only defeated at least 30 fomors, and at most 50 fomors (this is an overexaggeration, im pretty sure i havent fought that many @@). When i first heard about the fomor hate reset quest guy, i went to find him and see what my Hate level was. I can't remember the exact phrase he used but it was something like "they are almost on top of you, they will possess you blah blah"

So i started killing giants and Orcs (btw: do the orc machines count?). After about an hour of killing mobs i went to check my hate level.

He says "You've got a fairly good headstart ....blah blah blah"

Now over the next few weeks i avoid slaying any fomor type mobs and every now and then spend maybe 30 mins - 1 hour killing mobs in lufaise meadows. After each session i go back to the NPC that tells hate level. And it seems all i can get is "You've got a fairly good headstart....blah blah blah". Is there anything lower then this that would be said? (Say when you have zero hate?)

"Fairly good head start" is what he says for zero hate. I don't know if it's possible to get that message *and* have enough hate for them to sound-aggro you. Though I suspect that if they're sound-aggroing then he'll give a different message.

someone with pc version should run FFXIDATA and see what possible messages he can give...

but yes I believe "you have a decent head start" is the lowest, although it really doesnt seem like it would be

yea i would expect something like you have no enmity with the fomors or w/e >.>

but if thats the lowest everyones been getting, then ive been tryin to get my hate lower then 0 for the past 1 hour XD

Just so you know, the conversion rate between Orc and Fomor kills is a pretty low ratio. I've heard 2 to 1, and 4 to 1. I lean more towards the 2 to 1 myself, as I observed today that I was at "fairly good head start", then killed 4 fomors. This dropped me down another rank to whatever the level below this is. 5 dead orc troopers later, suddenly I'm back at "fairly good head start". I doubt the kill to fame ratio is 1 to 1, so plan on killing a good 2 orcs per undead taru/galka/mithra/hume.

Nevermind, I found him. For those that don't know, he's up on the top floor near Prishe's place. He's against the back wall equivelant to Senvaleget (the AH dude on middle floor).
