Has anyone seen a listing of the missions for CoP? i know it's new and people may not have had time to put together a walk-through. I would just like some info so that my LS can plan for it.

Walkthrough: Chains of Promathia Mission 1
Something like this? *edit* added some BC mob info
Chains of Promathia Missions
1. Ancient Flames Beckon
(3 parts)
1.1
Triggered by entering Lower Delkfutt's Tower
After the cutscene, enter Upper Jeuno for next cutscene.
Talk to Monberaux(G-10) for the last cutscene and receive a key item.
1.2
Go and talk to Rainhard(H-6) at RuLude Gardens and then Pherimociel(G-6) for a cutscene.
Go to either La Theine Plateau(I-8), Tahrongi Canyon(I-6) or Konschtat Highlands(I-7) and check the "Shattered Telepoint"
to be transferred to "Hall of Transference". Check the "Large Apparatus" to start a cutscene.
After the cutscene your level will be capped at 30 and you will be transported to Promyvion - (Holla,Mea,Dem).
(You are now attuned to that portal, to enter another portal you need to use the "Large Apparatus"again to cancel your attunement)
Emptiness monsters range from easy to IT, Thinkers and Gorgers being the toughest.
Well inside you travel around the islands using "Memory Receptacle" to warp around the islands.
When you finally reach the 'Tower of (Holla,Mea,Dem)' enter the BC by checking the "Web of Recollections"
Only 6 persons can enter the BC at a time.
Holla BC mob: Wreaker(Seether type)
AE Sleep and Curses, HP Drains. Absorbs all buffs (food, shell, protect, etc) that makes it stronger.
tip: Tanks and attackers: don't use any buffs! Take poison poion to counter sleep, holy water for uncurse and hi-potions.
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to La Theine.
Mea BC mob: Delver(Craver type)
Strong Poison and has an attack that reset hate and does insane damage, can be avoided by utusemi or running away.
tip: Go all out on it with 2H etc after it's HP reaches 50%. Antidote, Hi-Potion and 'Persikos au lait'(regen).
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to Tahrongi.
Dem BC mob: Progenerator(Gorger type) (Weak to water?)
Starts spitting out Offspring(Gorger type) after 50%hp, 1 at a time upto 6 that will repop if killed. (drops with the boss).
tip: It regenerates so go all out when you see it's regen outpace your damage. Don't bother with the 6 pops. hi-potions.
You recieve a key item after defeating it and get ported out to Konschtat.
1.3
Your mission objective will change after you defeat your first BC.
Go to the remaining Craigs and check the "Shattered Telepoint" for cutscene.
Fight your way to the BC as the first part.
You will be transported to Lufaise Meadows after defeating all 3 BC's.
You can now warp between Lufaise(K-8) and Valkurm(I-9) through the "Swirling Vortex".
Misareaux Coast is also available from Qufim(E-6).
Maps to each of the craigs can be gained by trading a rare/ex item gained from mobs at the later islands to a ??? at the last island.

Just finished the Spire of Mea BCNM, and these tips did help a great deal. I'll add my own info, and also pose a couple of stratigy questions based on our experiences.
First, I think these emptiness zones need to be treated like Dynamis. You need to have a clear leader, with everyone following.
The alliance should have a some ground rules, esp if this is not an LS event or something similar. 1st, no one gets left behind.. because if you do, the other 5 ppl in the PT are screwed when it comes to the BCNM. This can be tricky when teleporting (more on this later). Disconnects suck, but you just have to wait it out for the person to come back.
I think it'd be a good idea to form 3 balanced PTs, with the express knowledge that the current configuration is how you'll fight the BCNM. Since if you win, you get teleported out, it's nearly impossible get back to the Spire to rearrange groups and do it again. I'm not even sure if it's technically possible to redo the BCNM before completing the entire Chapter of CoP.
If you have one PT, you can't really just start inviting random people. I suggest the mindset of saying "you guys form your own PT, and we'll alliance for the trip up". This removes the responsibility from you of rebalancing the PTs later on, and can save a lot of hard feelings.
Anyways, there are 4 levels to the empitness zone. 1st level we killed one receptical and a teleporter opened up. 2nd level we killed 2 recepiticals for it to open up. Third, we killed one, and the teleport opened. However someone got aggro from a stray, couldn't teleport, and died. We ewnt back down to 3rd level (which you do by using the ungarded teleporter) raised, and waited for the receptical to come back. As of about 20 minutes later it didn't. Someone in alliance touched a "memory-door-thing", and I'd bet that's what respawned it. But I don't know for sure, that is speculation.
We get to 4th floor, and wonder around for a great long time looking for receptical. Turns out all you had to do was find the zoneline into the Spire, which was baffelingly simple once we relized it. The level cap wears off in the Spire, I guess to speed up the resting process, but it's reapplied when you enter the BCNM.
As long as the alliance sticks very close together, we had no problem taking out any one of the emptiness monsters. Of course, trying to fight in a safe area (safe being relative there) was important, and adds could wipe the party if not careful. Fortunatly, we were all careful. Monsters had a pretty nasty AoE bio/dia, and other AoE attacks to be careful of (silence, too). For BLM to do *any* significant damage, you *have* to see what color energy the mob has, and use the element it's weak too. Otherwise you are going to get a full resist on almost every single spell.
By far the hardest part, straitigy-wise, was getting everyone on the teleporters alive. The recepticals will respawn the strays as long as it's alive, but you only have so much time before the teleporter goes away. Catch-22. What I wanted to try, but we didn't have a chance, was taking the receptical down to about 5% life, then start pulling the strays. Kill off as many as could be done quickly, then finish off the receptical. It was possible to sleep the strays, although I did get some resists. I came very close to not making it through once.
Similiarly I had no problem landing lullaby on the emptiness mobs, but sleep (I'm told) was getting resisted fairly well. I chose to use pumpkin pies, as it seemed healing heal would be important. I think the hardest thing to get used to was remember what spells you'll have availalbe at 30 (and 15 for subjob) and if you are macro dependant, that can really slow your gameplay down.
As for the BCNM, we simply used the tips here. Fight it as a normal fight until about 50%, then everyone 2hr and start the beatdown. I soul voiced at around 65% so I could get in and out with minimum risk. It was close, a couple of times with ppl under 10hp, but we did manage to win. It wasn't *easy*, but also wasn't the hardest thing we've ever done either.
I hope my experiences can help others with these zones. Please feel free to add in any comments or suggestions and maybe we can hammer together a good stratigy for the entire zone.
EDIT: BTW, the recepticals have a nasty knockback attack, and I'd suggest not meleeing it. We had 3 RNG and 2 BLM, and killing them that way was no problem. Melee need not be worried about having nothing to do, they can pick off strays that aggro onto the RNGs and BLMs. It worked very well for us.

I'm somewhat confused about the receptacle-teleporter-stray issue.
Are you saying the problem is that there's no point trying to kill off all strays before the receptacle because they just respawn, but if you kill receptacle and then fight all the strays, you might not get to the teleporter in time?
Also, how do you discover where the receptacle and teleporter are (or does the teleporter spawn right next to the receptacle after it is destroyed?)
Last one, where do you find the zoneline into the Spire on the 4th level? Is it on the map?
Much thanks, I plan to attempt this with LS this weekend.
P.S. Anyone know how useful Shade gear is for this (empty killer)? I was planning to obtain a full set for each tank.. only the tank needs it right?I believe in karma. Anyone I treat badly probably deserved it.

The receptacle respawns them as long as it alive. However, it is possible to have a minimal number of strays alive when the receptacle dies. Normally, our alliance kills off 5-6 strays and then the RNG and BLM start on the receptacle. Non ranged-melee pull the remaining strays. By the time those strays are dead, the receptacle has spawned another. You just continually pull strays until the receptacle is dead. We split up our "non-ranged-melee" into 2 groups, so we could easily take down 2 strays at a time. Are you saying the problem is that there's no point trying to kill off all strays before the receptacle because they just respawn, but if you kill receptacle and then fight all the strays, you might not get to the teleporter in time?
Even with all of that, there may still be 1-2 strays leftover when the receptacle dies. In that case, you sleep them and get on the portal. The portal doesn't stay open for too long. I can't give an exact figure, but I'd treat it as if you had about 20-30 seconds before it disappears. If the strays hit you, you will get an "event skipped" while porting. It is possible to get on the portal with one stray on you, but you have to time it just right.
RNG can find the receptacles with widescan. The porter will appear where the receptacle was. Also, how do you discover where the receptacle and teleporter are (or does the teleporter spawn right next to the receptacle after it is destroyed?)
I didn't have the map, but while the alliance rested up, we sent out a few RNG to scan the horizon (with clipping plane maxed) to see if they could see the spire.Last one, where do you find the zoneline into the Spire on the 4th level? Is it on the map?

Got to Spire of Holla last night. We failed the BCNM, but the trip up was quite an interesting experience.
The teleporter (again assuming it's not a fake) will spawn right underneith where the receptical is. There can be anywhere from 3 (1st level) to 8 (3rd level) Strays around it. And yeah, as long as the Receptical is alive, it will respawn the Strays.. I'd guess at a rate of one every 20 seconds or so. What we started doing was intentionally pulling strays when the Receptical had about 15-20% of its life left, to minimize how many were alive when the teleporter opened. One of these days I'll use a timer to check, but I'd guess 30-45 seconds is how long it stays open. In one case we were able to kill of 4 (maybe 5) strays after the receptical died but before the teleporter closed. We were a full alliance however and we made sure that no one went through until they were all dead (max firepower).
You can actually see the Spire on all 4 levels (I don't know about map, no one I know has one yet and I've never seen a single memodrop drop yet) but of course it's only the 4th level that has a zoneline. Mea seemed to be almost too easy to find; Holla was much harder because you ended up sort of going around and behind it to get to the zone. I don't yet know what Dem is like.
RNG can find the recepticals with Widescan, but there is no garuentee it will open up a portal. One thing that I still don't know is if the portals are completely random, or if it's always the same one, or if it's the same one until some event causes it to move, or what.

I spoke to my PLD bf about it after he tried it for holla. I think he said he preferred the defense and stats of the HQ german gear, cause the effect wasn't all that spectacular, and didn't kick in often.Originally posted by imac2much

I love your sig ^^ It is beautiful ^^ How did you get the avatars out from Screenshots like that if I may ask?
Back to the topic. I'm going to do this with my LS. It's going to be strange since we are a small LS ^^ Anyways here are the members of my LS
Elvaan male - 30 RNG, 47 NIN
Elvaan male - 30 BRD, 33 BLM, 65 RDM
Mithra - 56 WHM
Mithra - 30 NIN , 59 THF
Hume male - 55 WAR , 60 SAM, 30 NIN
Hume male - 53 DRK , 30 WAR
I'm worried about the recepticals . If I get this right, when we find the recepticals he will have up to 8 strays on him.
Are we to kill the receptical as fast as possible and then concentrate on the stray?
If so then will I be able to use Horde Lullaby as a BRD to sleep the other starys? or will I end up getting resisted and end up dying?
Also are there more then one receptical on one floor? and will each recepitical open a portal? or is it a certain one?I
understand that everyone says bring a 18 person alliance to get to the spire, but I am trying an alternative. Please help me out on this. Also what is this about a memodrop drop?
Thanks for any more info

One more thing ^^
How would you rank Holla, Dem, and Mea from easiest to hardest?
What food would you bring for each and how much? I know we need Poison Potions and Yugado Potions, but what else and how much?
Thanks a ton again.

Recently we try to do Hola.
PT: smn, whm, blm, war, war, rng.
As for the recepticals. Our 2 wars just pull stray one at a time and kill it asap. Let the rng and blm handle the recepticals. After we kill the recepticals, we still have around 5 strays roaming around. so the 2 wars just run in and aggro the 5 strays and pull back in one area and the smn call out ramuh and area attack the 5 strays to gain hate. we zone. XD
Unfortunately we didn't even make it to the BC room before we were wipe out clean at 3rd floor. cuz we aggro 3 IT weepers lol. And we only go as 1 PT. It's also my first time so have no idea about the emptiness.Seishi-Ultimate Champion of the World!
