Quests that lower fame

I'd heard about these in rumors, and alluded to, but never had I seen anything concrete until it happened to me today.

I am currently at 198 unique quests completed, with an unknown number of repeats, with max fame in Bastok, and San d'Oria. Level 7 in Tenshodo and Windurst.

I decided to work on my Windurst fame, as my country, Bastok was in first place, and I could buy Cornettes for the Mandragora-Mad quest in Windurst.

So I bought 32 of them at 219 gil each, rode the airship over, yada-yada. Get back to Bastok, the price is now 222. Run over to Flaco, still a hero. But clearly my fame had dropped. Now this is pretty annoying.

So I'd like to know, from my other fellow quest-hounds out there, what quests drop what fame?

Rumored:
Selbina Quest: Only The Best: Lowers Tenshodo Fame.

Check again today. NPCs prices I believe do actually rise if you buy a large amount of items at the same time. Guild prices do the same, when selling stuff.

Not sure what sense, if any it makes for a quest in Windurst to lower Bastok fame though..
