  • New Quest: Fit for a Prince

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the quest: Fit for a Prince.
It doesnt seem like anyone or any site has informaiton on it so I thought that it might have been a new quest from the update. Does any one know. If you do have info help me out. Thanks.

Oh, sorry bout that. The guy who started the quest for me was the guy who stands outside the Kings Throne Room inside the castle. Im sure you've talked to him before. He's the same guy Ive done all my castle quests for. And yeah, I dont mind trying to figure this out on my own. Heaven forbid I play it like a Final Fantasy game. lol I wasn't sure if it was one of the new ones or not though. Thanks

talk to halver. He'll bring you to cutscene where prince pijeu or whatever and a couple others talk to you about finding a new bride for trion.

ok this is what i found out.......

I found a Mithra who matched the description, had them join my party and went to talk to Halver. I got a cut scene, then i got the following item:

            Castors Ring
L1 All Jobs Rare/Ex no stats

The player who was with me got a scene too(unsure if it was identical) and received

            Polluxs Ring
L1 All Jobs Rare/Ex no stats

It would appear that you can't get the quest if you're currently in the middle of Sandy M5-2

Quests might vary person to person because he asked me for a Hume girl with short black hair brush to the right, Not a Mithra.

I was asked to find an Elvaan girl with long silver hair, parted in the middle.

                        Exactly what I thought!!!!!!!
The quest discription led me to belive that there were several different requirments and the set that you got was just random.
Ex: I got Elf, Black hair, parted in the middle.
I just was not shure if I was suposed to get a PC or NPC. Guess I'll have to hunt for PCs from the look of it.

No Ifs Ands or Buts about it.
                        Rest of my sig

Yeah, I logged on the game not long after the update had finished and had a JPN guy asking me to help him finish a quick quest. I didn't know what the quest was about but I followed him to the castle and talked to Halver. I recieved the Pollux's Ring and I guess he got the Castor Ring. My question is though, does the quest count as fame for the female player? Afterwards I believe I had a new title of something like "something Candidate" but no information about it in my completed or current quests. But the ring is what bugs me since I figure there must be more to it than just a statless ring :p

maybe the ring has a hidden stat?

They probably just have a random databse of all the different types of faces and hair etc, and they don't want to be telling EVERYONE to get the same looking girl, or those people who were unloucky enough to have those haircuts would be getting asked every 5 minutes
