AF Gloves Question

Hi,

Being a WHM my gloves quest comes around at level 59-60, when it's somewhat safe for me to go get a Bedeaux coffer key. However, I am l52, and have a 54 friend who wants to fight Dark Spark soon to get his RDM gloves.


What I am wondering, as I will be helping him no matter what, is can I get the Shadow Flames key item before I've handed in the "some old gloves" key item to the Galka in Jeuno? So far I have started the quest and he's sent me out to dungeons to find AF items.

Sorry to say but you'll have to go fight it again for yourself after opening the coffer for your gloves.
