Bastok Escort Quest

I just got this quest from an NPC in the Steaming Sheep restaurant this morning, to escort another NPC into Crawler's Nest. She said that the NPC will spawn sometime during the day, and that I should escort her in. I just got it before logging out of the game to go to work. Anyone have done this quest yet? I'll try it when I get home.

Ok, I just lead Olavia to her death (;

She led me to the Doom Scorpion Room, where they proceeded to kill her, she fought back to no avail. I tried to help her, then they chased me out. I'll try this again with a party this time.

Ok so Olavia goes to J-8, room full of Doom Scorpions.

After cleaning up room, she went back and headed for 2nd level @J-10

Final place is D-7, where Knight's Crawlers spawn.

Now for the payback.

Party Setup was L53 WHM, L54 THF, L55 DRK, L55 RDM (me).
THF agrod the last 2 crawlers and ran for the party. Jee, I salute you! I'm sorry for your death!

Oh, and this quest cannot be repeated, unlike the Ecowarrior quest. I'm going to go hunt the Sandoria and Windurst Escort NPCs. I hear that the Sandoria Escort quest entails going into Eldieme Necropolis, which is IMO would be tougher than Crawler's Nest.

BTW, for CN, she led us to Doom Scorpions, then to the lower level where we had to clear some Soldier Crawlers, Exorays. and Blazer Beetles. Then she led us to face Rumble Crawlers and Helm Beetles, and finally ended with Knight Crawlers.

Quickest way to finish this quest would probably be with a theif and let the theif agro the mobs to clear the room and let the NPC walk in unharmed. BTW, the NPC does fight the mob if it attackes her.

That would be fun to see^^ What did she do? I mean, use a sword and hack at things? How much damage, too? Can you cure her? How about sneak and invis? Sorry for the questions, heh, very interested. =P

It was actually fun, but very hard unless you've had the route cleared off. 30 mins is good time, me thinks. Olavia had L30 gear on (looks like Centurion gear) and had a dagger, unfortunately, I dont know which kind, I couldnt check her. Damage wise, probably like a theif. Yes you can cure her, but you cant sneak/invis.

I'm set on trying the Sandoria version soon, but it entails going to Eldieme.

Ok, well via verification from the Mystery Tour, the Sandoria version is taken from Rondipur, in North Sandoria, near the Smithing Guild. And that the NPC Cannau will meet you in Eldieme. I accepted the quest, but have not set up the party to do it yet.

The Windurstian Version is from Dehn Harzhapan, from the Wareshouse zone in Port Windurst. She will ask you to take Wanxo-Unzozo (tarutaru) through Garlaige Citadel. I dont have enough Windy fame yet to accept the quest, but I'll be levelling a new job in Windy soon so I can get more quest items (like the stupid Smooth Stone quest, i have turned in 13 and still have not done it yet).

this quest is repeatable... but once every week (Earth)
i did it with a PT...... but i didnt talk to her b4 she leaves... so make sure to talk to her b4 she leaves or u wont get anythin lol...
