ok.. besides af2 for rdm is there any other quests that require the key? or should i just open a random chest??

AF requires Coffers Keys, not chest keys.

wow, way to bring up an old thread back alive... rdm af2 needs the key. i wasn't talking about coffers... i would have said coffer key
