Aspir Quest availability?

Who can tell me what I need to obtain the Aspir quest in Windurst? I have completed the Teacher's Pet and Reap What You Sow quests.
I have finished 19 quests in Windurst and am rank 2, but still cannot get the quest. Do I need yet more Windurstian fame?

Yes, you do indeed need more fame.

I was not able to complete this until I had about 25 unique quests and 10 repeats.

The fame check NPC in Windurst is Zabirego-Hajigo at the pub (H-10 I believe). I think what you need him to say is "Ah, you're the {insert name here} that people have been talking about ...."

I Just completed this quest. I did 20 unique quests and about 35 repeats........maybe more repeats. Have fun

12 Quests done in Windhurst, handed in about 2 stacks of sardines and got the Aspir quest. Also handed in a couple more repeatables. There is no need to do 25+ quests for Aspir.

According to ffxi.allakhazam.com you need to be level 24 to get the aspir quest. I haven't read any post or seen anything myself to verify it but it might be your problem.

Nah, its only a fame requirement.

I got it long before level 13 and did it at 13 when I could afford the item at the auction house for 4k gil. Got the aspir scroll then, sold it pretty quick for 25 k gil at AH. Wheee.
