Bastokm9-1 and m9-2 rank 9 missions

edit: I'm not sure if this is what you wanted? m8-1&2? do you mean m17&18 for rank 9, 19&20 for rank10?

M9-1 : Recommended 12 LV70+, 18 LV70+ to make it easy.

After getting the mission from the gate guard, go to Bastok Metalworks and talk to Alois located at J-8, the President's office. Then go to Rabao and talk to Dancing Wolf at G-7. Now go to Gustav Tunnel and go north at G-9. Once on the 2nd map, go to the corner at G-6. You will see a ???

Clear the area first before touching ??? as it will spawn an NM jelly [Gigaplasm]. Alternatively, you can have everyone gather at the path between G-7 and H-7, clear a path, and pull the jelly NM back(much easier this way actually, less chance of adds).

Gigaplasm uses an AE attack that can do 200-400 damage. Be careful with its AE it can wipe out an entire alliance. One time Gigaplasm used its AE attack 3 times in a row and next thing you know the mages are down.

Once you defeat Gigaplasm it'll now spawn 2 Macroplasm. When you defeat Macroplasm it'll spawn 2 Microplasm, so killing 2 Macroplasm will spawn 4 Microplasm, after killing Microplasm it'll spawn 2 Nanoplasm, so 4 microplasm killed means 8 Nanoplasms spawn. As long as you sleep the rest and kill one by one, it shouldn't be too hard. The jellys get easier to as you go down the list, and they can be slept fairly easily.

When you killed all the jellys, go back to ??? to get the miracle salt


Bastok M9-2 : BC fight, 6 LV70+

After getting the mission from the gate guard, go to the President's office and talk to President Karst. Then go to Castle Zvahl and go to the place where you fought the Shadow Lord. At LV70 nothing aggro's, so it should be easy to get all the way to the Throne Room.

When fighting the battle, it'll be one NM for the first part. Just beware of WS as it will hurt. Once you get it down to 50% hp, the second part of the battle will begin. The hard part of the second part is that you have to keep an NPC alive. If that NPC is dead then the battle is lost and you'll be taken outside the Throne Room. In addition to keeping the NPC alive, the NM will spawn 2 clones that can and will do a 3 person skillchain that can pretty much do enough damage to kill anyone. The clones couldn't be slept by at LV75 RDM and LV70 BRD, so give up on that idea and just kill the clones first. Sometime after the clones die the NM will spawn another 2 more clones, but they're relatively easy to kill. It only has 500HP and low resistance to magic so a BLM can easily take those two down.

Focus on keeping the NPC alive and keep killing any spawned clones and the battle should be won easily. Now go back to get your reward and Rank 10.

Hi...i went to mysterytour...umm can some1 be so kind as to but this in lamens terms/better english or something...im not really understanding the broken english......Also can you tell me wtf or how da fuk do you fall asleep during a mission? exp pt maybe(depending on how long u been online, but a gd MISSION -.-

eh? i can understand what he wrote quite well. I'll reiterate what he said from my own experience if you want

m17
enter at g-6 from w.altepa. go to g-11 behind the weight-opening door touch a ??? it will pop 3 anticans. BLM/PLD/WAR kill in that order. i dont remember exactly but you will go to a room with a hole in the middle of it, (do not fall down) examine the ??? on the mural on the wall and youll get a custscene with Zeid.
m18
go to kuftal on your immediate left where you can look down into the room filled with haunts is a ???, examine it. then go down to that room with haunts, clear it and touch the ??? along the wall to pop the NMs(3 ghosts), touch again and you're done.
