I'm from Windurst and finally got around to doing mission six with my lvl 20 WAR/MNK. I went to Bastok first, then San D'oria and found a party and trekked through like all four zones to get to the burning circle. This took about two hours as party members would leave or we'd find new ones and have to go get them. We're finally ready to fight and two of our party members, the healers, can't get into the circle because they need to fight the Bastok dragon. It was such a disappointment as I'd been looking forward to fighting the dragon all evening and fear it will be difficult to form another party, especially because I usually play in the morning when there are 100-300 people online. Can only people on mission 6 from your country fight the dragon? Or can you get help from anyone who isn't on mission 6?

Yes, I know it is frustrating doing mission 6 – mostly because there are so few players on the server (I did it at lvl 30+).
I confident this will not be a problem in retail. If you think that is bad – think about the people with the expansion – where you pretty much playing with 10-50 people at any given time.

Aye, I feel sorry for those doing the expanion. (I understand they get to play longer than the rest of us, although I could be mistaken.) And I think it's rather empty now! That is one thing I'm looking forward to about retail, is more people.

You can actually fight the Dragon with people of any nation, as long as they need to fight the same dragon. Also, any R3. If you get stuck, ask anyone you know who is already r3 to give a hand. Just try to avoid sending messages to people you don't know in windurst to help with a dragon in bastok -.-; The dragon falls easily to 4 lvl 25 players, even if they fight the dragon nude. (i do it all the time since all of my wearable gear is lvl 30-40).
