Hmmm, what are these boots?

I saw a ninja wearing these tonight in Jeuno, pretty swanky boots for level 18. Anyone know how to earn them or ever translate the name? The guys equip was pretty top notch so i'm assuming it's a hard quest he did with a higher level.



Also, to throw this in again, anyone know the quest involving this key from Garlaige?

I know of at least one quest involving that key...but i think that there are more than just one that need it. The one that I for sure know that you need it is given by Chululu who is above the AH in Low Jeuno.

Another one that I think requires that key is given by Kuroido-Moido in Windurst....(the exact area i dont remember but i think either in woods or port).

The key is to a Cremetory Hatch located at I-7 behind the second Banishing Door. And I can say that the place where the door is located is not a very happy place to be unless you are a very high lvl. Needless to say I have yet to complete this quest. But have been to the area....and you can imagine what happend.

Upon inspection this looks like a great quest. You can gamble gil on finishing the quest in a set time.

When you accept the quest he'll ask you to gamble 100, 250, 500 or 1000 gil, then ask you how long you need to finish, 24, 36, 48 or 72 hrs. If you finish in time, you'll get money based on the following multipliers: 24hrs (3x), 36 (2.5x), 48 (2x), 72 (1.5x). So if you pick 24hrs and bet 1000 gil you'll get 3000 gil back as well as the sandals.

To complete the quest you have to go to Davoi and inspect any of the "Jar" targets to get the sandals, then take them back to Devean. Apparently it's really simple if you have invisi

Also, it seems to be repeatable. If you are WHM/BLM (so have teleport and dezone), you can do this in 15 mins, thus getting 12000gil in an hour! I'm gonna go try this tonight! Wish they had chocobos in Selbina....
