Soon Returning - haven't played since 2005 - Server ideas?

Hi There Everyone! I think it was Fairy server I used to play on. I know a ton has changed, though it will be completely new to me.

I'm married now, and work so looking to play semi-casually; I'm American but live Down Under in NZ - so though I love the Japanese people too, I'm also happy to play with English speakers, Westerners, etc.

Can anyone suggest good, reasonably populated servers? Servers with linkshells for mature/adult players?

Looking forward to seeing FFXI again! Thanks

Hello. I just got back into playing myself. I got my old account back and it was in Levithian server. I have just stayed there so far. It is nothing like it used to be... I remember people everywhere. Anyway Levithian is still active and I can usually find 10 or so people in each of the popular leveling areas. Sometimes there are many more and other times there are only one or 2. I am still looking for an active linkshell so if anyone has ideas on that let me know.

I'm coming back for a bit as well... however I'm starting completely fresh. Not sure where to place my new character. I used to play on Ramuh with Estya and Triel and the gang... not sure if any IMT still play. Which server has a good population these days?
