Returning since 2006- What happened!?

I have my character on Valefore as a 28 RDM/14 BLM and can't find any parties in Yuhtunga Jungle to party with, then I find out no more parties in the dunes, or most places I would go to level back in 2006.

On top of that I find no players around my level searching for parties in most areas, almost everyone is lvl 99.

Abyssea is what happend. It ripped the spine out of 11. No more dunes. You go to Gusgen Mines now to level from 1-50 or 1-30 then from there is Crawler's Nest. If you really need to burn then go to Abyssea or Bostineux Obliuette (Spell Check). Usually people enter Abyssea at level 30 and just skill up after. When they added Abyssea it tore out the spine of Final Fantasy 11 altogether, however the new expansion might redeem that feature with new jobs coming our way in 2013. But welcome back, I am about to leave Valefor, but if I can find friends to hang with I'll stay.
