    Returning after a LONG time

    Hey guys, only just signed up here.

    I had FFXI years ago (Still have the install discs though! :D )when I was younger and had to talk my dad into paying my account!
    I don't remember why I stopped playing, I think it was just lack of players.
    Anyway, I'm thinking of signing back up.
    So any new players that want someone to team up with to get going let me know cus I'd rather play with a few people than on my own

    Depends on which server you're playing on.

    And no, not all of us are on the same server. That was attempted once. It didn't go very well.

      I've been reading up on FF11,
      I can't remember any of my account details whatsoever, can I use my install CD's and just make a new account on play online etc?

        To be honest it will be easy and cheaper to just download it from steam as you get your free 30 days and all the expansions to date and you get the desterier berret which gives an exp bonus, refresh etc + a few others when levelling up to 30. Its what I did and now 5 months on I am doing well with a charcter in the 70's a few in teh late 40's and 50's and many missions and quests under my belt.

          I would have to agree with Jarre.

          I have also seen an influx of players joining the game, and players returning to the game. I have actually just started up again though. Would be interesting to see whats going on in the game now.
