Well BG's focus was always mainly endgame and ... what else is there right now? Other sites took a more general look at FFXI and general stuff is where FFXI totally fell off the face of the earth.

We really need somebody with too much free time to obsessive-compulsively bring the GE Wiki up to completion as a database, if nothing else, though . . .

Nation missions are all soloable as a melee (or melee WHM) up until, and possibly including, the last couple. Zilart is soloable until Ark Angels by most people, and some can solo that. CoP is soloable until the airship fight, at least, and possibly the pots and maybe the whole thing at this point. ToAU is probably soloable (havent done it all) until close to the end. And WotG is soloable by a pet job I think, though drg and whm might need some help. WHM will need help dealing damage unless you are a good melee WHM (I am not).

(I'd love to be a good melee whm, that was always one of my dreams. xD) Sweet, and what about the three non expansion mission sets added? Thanks so much for all this help Squiggs! ^.^

I wanted to be a good melee WHM too, so I levelled DNC...

Anyway, I haven't done the three mini-expansions, but from looking at the missions, I would say they are soloable up to the final fight.

As much as I'd love to, contrary to popular belief, I have hardly any free time at all between college and job-hunting, and what free time I do have I'd rather be actually playing something, or at least browsing forums and listening to podcasts.

The simplest way to do it is to get a party on your WHM and ask the ally leader in /tell if you can get in line to key, because you'll need to build up cruor first. Each key is 500 cruor. The sleaziest way to do it is to answer a shout and pay for a leech spot (no keying involved), its usually 100k an hour with a 3 or 4 hour minimum or something like that. And, that's apparently the newest way for RMT to make their gil, though not all of them are RMT.

Luckily before I quit last I partied on my whm from 66 to 76, so I may have enough cruor to skip that step, but if not, I don't mind leveling my whm, lol XD. And no way am I just paying to leech a spot, at least I can be useful taking care of opening chests with keys. But, if I need to get in line to key, I guess that works too, lol. Thanks again, lol ^^
