I am going to return to the world that we all know and love called Vana'Diel...

But first... A few things.

Should I start over with a fresh new character? My main has quite a few shines on him.

Or, should I keep him? If I where to keep him and transfer servers, how much would that cost, and how long would it take for the transfer to finish?

What server should I transfer to if I where to do that?

I cant wait till I am back in the world spending countless hours fooling with my macros and my jobs gears.

Welcome back!

A fresh character will give you a chance to get back into the swing of things, but if you like your shinies (and they hold up still) then keep your main.

Server transfers are $25 (I think, you'd have to ask Yyg, he's the end all be all of server transfers) and I think they are immediate (again, ask Yyg).

You can go anywhere but Cerberus (just kidding Tak, you're more than welcome to come to Cerb). It would depend on what you are looking for in game. What server were you on before?

I was on the Alexander server, and I am just seeing if there is any server that would like some one who used to play when the game first came out. I had another character during the Promathia times (All jobs unlocked, and past level 40.). I think I used to be on the Kujata server, but idk. I may reactivate my old character, and transfer to a server that would accept me.

Alexander merged with Shiva and Kujata merged with Valefor (I think) which is where a few people from here are.

Yea, my Old server (When I first played, but got banned due to payment issues.), was Kujata.

So, I am now on Alexander, which is now Shiva... Will have to server transfer or something....

Also.... Does anyone know why Steam seems to be slow atm? I got to purchase the game off steam, and it wont let me due to connections issues. I do everything, fine, go to pay for the game then... Bam! It slows to a screeching halt.

Well if your going to a server let me know, I'm looking for a server to stay on myself. I'd like it if we all hung out with Squiggs. He's nice enough and I've never got the chance to actually meet him in person, I was going to stick here to Valefor but Ygg seems to go missing when I need him so I don't know.

Yyg is often missing when you need him, but it's just because he works really weird hours.

Yeah. Server transfers have been moved from POL to the Square-Enix account website. Don't go looking in POL where they used to be.

Server Transfer costs $25.

Server Transfers are instant. You'll log on next in whatever server you picked.

Alexander was absorbed by Shiva. Kujata was absorbed by Valefor.

Cid, Mhurron and myself are on Valefor. Neverslip, Squiggs and Romyro are on Cerberus. Truece is on Leviathan (?). Nobody that I know of is on Shiva.

You're welcome to join Cid and I on Valefor... although we both have some wacky play times and usually miss one another. I'd enjoy having another forum member with us, but honestly you're probably better off going to Cerberus.

To change servers again, you need to wait 90 days from the date of your last transfer.
