Bst is strong soloer in abyssea but need to put some work into it before hand (getting the right couple atmas and the right –pdt/mdt gear). Bst can also solo a large chuck of its +1 and +2 gear but it would take a loooooong time. Need lots of stones and a bit of luck (since you can’t proc).

If your looking to join xp parties, I would actually suggest going to the popular abyssea camps (A-LTP worms, A-U buffalo, A-A statues) and just asking in /say if you can join. I’ve notice a lot of times just sitting in jeuno, you don’t get many /tells for invites but usually when I visit a camp, people will see you and try to claim you as a replacement lol.

You have an 89 BST and never exp'd in Abyssea? That is pretty surprising.

i leveled Bst to 86 outside abyssea. Well....85 + capped xp. There are actually some decent camps. I didn’t do much abyssea when visions came out. When the second one came out, I didn’t like how easy xp was so I capped it outside.

Eventually caved in though…all other jobs though where done in abyssea.

I love playing BST and especially now because the pets are so strong now. The upper level food heals them also. You can pretty much sit back and watch the pet fight while you heal if need be.

Now that you mentioned it... I did do a little bit of soloing in Abyssea but I was just trying to get Kindred Crest for limit break. Then I found out you could treat seals and other stuff to the guy in Jueno and get crest and orbs. Hmmm I wasted a lot of time till someone told me that.

Well, I am level 90 BST and DRK now. I leveled up BST by soloing and campaign... I am an old school player...

Just curious, what level would be sufficient to start going to the worm parties for exp? I have recently started a new character after not playing for a couple years, currently i'm 60 DRG.

No less than 70. You will need ACC food to hit them at that level.

Thanks for the reply! One more quick question, would i have to stick to the crawler's nest until 70? Or is there another decent spot to level? I can see myself getting really underskilled in the nest.. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Are you doing GOV if you are go to Bostaunieux Oubliette you can go until lv 90

Campaign is always an option too. It is a bit slower but it is a lot of fun getting away from book burning parties... I get 9K maxed out on campaign per battle...

You don't get skills in campaign tho, so if that's a concern, do GoV.

You stay in GoV areas far longer than you get skillups from them, so this is hardly a problem. By the time you can easily handle Campaign, you're not getting skills from the GoV pages you can do quickly.

I dunno. I managed to cap my skills on WAR and SAM doing GoV. But I suppose there is some logic to what you're saying.
