I stopped playing FFXI a year or so ago and recently just came back. The main reason I had quit was because the majority of people I knew had stopped playing and the main linkshell I was apart of just kind of... Died. Most of my friends were part of the linkshell and because no one really logged on anymore, doing missions (CoP mostly) was kind of impossible and the game just stopped being fun.
I'd like to join a linkshell (in Shiva) because I'd like to be able to do CoP missions, nation (Windurst) missions, and generally get to know the game again. I only left for a year, but I feel like a lot has changed.
I'm not looking to leech off a linkshell or for someone to hold my hand or anything. It'd just be nice to be in an active linkshell again and make new friends.
Anyway, I hope this is posted in the right place. Sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time with this. I saw a few threads for linkshells for other servers, but I'm not sure there's one for Shiva. My in-game name is Raffii (or Achiiko) and I appreciate any help or advice anyone can offer.
