Still have ID, just need Game?

I still remember my PlayOnline ID, but I don't have the game or expansions for the PC anymore. Can I buy the new $10 Ultimate Collection and just renew my sub using those registration codes for the stuff I don't already have?

I realize this question is probably stupid. But I can often be stupid. So there we are.

Also, with all the server merges, I have no freaking idea what server I'm even on anymore. I doubt I'm on one with anyone here though.

well the ultimate collection will come with the first set of three minisodes, the second set of three add the new "endgame" so it all depends on where your old character stands. Also the new areas that are unlocked with said minisodes make leveling from 75 to 90...well easy as hell ;p

oh and they cost 9.99 each so $15+$30 to get everything

If you can get the Steam offer it's $10 or less for "everything before Abyssea".

I haven't done it myself, but apparently after the download you get the registration code. Just enter that code as an upgrade for one of the mini-expansions you don't have, and it should work.

The same works if you spend $15 (or is it $10 now?) for a retail copy. One code, enter it for a mini-expansion.

DO NOT USE THE CODE YOU RECEIVE TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT! Enter it as an upgrade!

So how would you guys prioritize getting the Abyssea mini expansions? visions, scars then heroes or some other?

If you have to prioritize each of them, it might be better to get Scars or Heroes first, since those are pretty much the popular ones to level/do things in. I would say get all 3 at the same time though, just so you can have it all.

Really, they're worth it. The previous three "expansions" were crap, and I never got them because I held off until others had played them for a while.

Given SE's track record, I held off on getting the first Abyssea expansion. A few days later I could tell that it was made of win and got it. I got the other two before the updates dropped.

Yeah I wouldn't bother with the three mini-scenarios unless you really want to see the stories or something. I did the first one and it was okay - the story was good, at least - but not worth ten bucks if you ask me.

I don't know, the Shantotto Ascension final fight cutscene alone was worth $10 to me.
